Crytek and Microsoft Studios today announced that the explosive first-person shooter “Warface Xbox 360 Edition” will release for Xbox 360 on April 22 and will be available in the Xbox Games store.
“We’re extremely excited to be bringing ‘Warface’ to console gamers later this month on Xbox 360,” said Hasit Zala, Warface Franchise Director at Crytek. “We’re looking forward to bringing ‘Warface’ to the more than 48 million Xbox Live members, offering a free-to-play game filled with intense co-op action and new, daily content to keep Xbox 360 players coming back for more.”
The popular free-to-play shooter will feature co-operative and competitive multiplayer action in which players can master four Warface classes: Rifleman, Medic, Engineer, and Sniper to experience different tactical approaches, gameplay styles and unique weapon sets. Starting with the launch, “Warface Xbox 360 Edition” will receive regularly updated content, enabling fans to experience new, daily co-operative campaign missions, and a continuous supply of new maps, weaponry and more.
“Warface Xbox 360 Edition” will be available exclusively on Xbox 360 as a free-to-play with Gold title1 starting April 22 worldwide.
